If you are driving down the highway when this tea pot comes on, it means you will buy a new engine very soon.

Its involved 3 things
1- either the oil pump is not active, or....
2- the oil switch has gotten a problem, or...
3- the engine oil has extremely short, and lastly may be the engine has gotten a problem. Thank you

Stop immediately check engine oil if it's there then a problem might have occured with oil pump that's all bullshit. You need breakdown service other you will face the consequences of being big headed...

Oil pressure is low. The oil pressure sensor detect the pressure,if it appears that sign maybe it's your oil pump,or your oil filter is blocked
